This Birthday Needs More Godzilla

Birthdays remind me that I’m getting older. Hangovers are only going to get worse from here. Birthdays are also a reminder of which random web forums I’m a member of - none of which I post in.
Since there are no impending deadlines, assignments or projects due this week (they were all due last week), I feel like I’m missing something, and started looking at learning Java Swing. Like everything in Java, you have to write about ten times the amount of code that’s really necessary. But I have to learn some sort of GUI programming eventually… (maybe GTK?). Plus, it’s a little embarassing getting caught trying to teach myself Java Swing, when I could’ve been watching Godzilla: Final Wars. But what I really want to watch right now is Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla or Godzilla vs. Mothra vs. Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S..
I need to find some more Godzilla.

I think finding a giant, 100 ft.-tall radioactive dinosaur is much more feasible.
I think watching Godzilla is an easier option. You can pause, rewind, fastforward and hit play any time you want. Good luck trying to find a woman willing to behave like that.

The day Skrud DOES find a girlfriend, he will transform into an unrecognizable un-skrud-like being.. And it will be GOOD!
OMG FiG, you are right… Skrud would become another one of ‘em “guys with a girl”, and would redefine himself in accordance to the girl he’s with… getting calls throughout the day, mentioning every conversation “well my girlfriend…”, spending some of his coding time with her instead, and sharing his relationship issues with his friends, either actively or passive agressively. Then again, he could always surprise us all and become some kind of SUPER-Skrud.
All I know is that a girl in Skrud’s life would call an end to a fantastic era, and bring in the unknown. I fear what follows, but I know it is inevitable, so I support it.

Touch dramatic? Maybe what Kriggs wrote (I sure as hell don’t talk about “relationship issues” with my friends… Ewww..) is a little but off the far side, but in general, girlfriends DO change guys. At least they do in long term relationships.

Well Skrud doesn’t make mention too often about his lack of sex, but instead goes for metaphores like Godzilla. Can we assume if he got a girlfriend that he would be just as discrete about her?
